The North East Ohio Region of the American Coaster Enthusiasts held "Little Dipper Fest" at The Memphis Kiddie Park on Sunday June 4th 2006 in Cleveland, OH. This event was coordinated by local rep Jonathon Hymes to comemerate The Little Dipper as "The Oldest Operating Steel Coaster in North America Still in it's Original Loaction." The park had a wonderful turn out of 48 people. This included ACE president Carol Sanderson who presented the park with a plaque to honor The Little Dipper. Every one in attendance got to enjoy unlimited rides on The Little Dipper, The Train, The Carosel, and as many rounds of Mini Golf you could swing a putter at. That is if you were willing to wade through the holes that were under water :) Guests under 50" were also enjoyed the many other rides the park has to offer. The park also provided a lunch and park coloring book for everyone. WTAM 1100, FOX 8 News, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and The Brooklyn Sun Journal all did features on the park for this special occasion.
